The boyfriend was made redundant today, news I did not want to hear at christmas. We are consoling ourselves with the knowledge we have each other, and there are people far worse off than us...
These photos are very poor, but are all I managed to get before my camera died! I am wearing a longline top from Target, blue shoes from god knows where, and my loud silk blazer :-)
I was cleaning out my closet, and liked the way this combination looked. The "skirt" is a bit short for me, but I think I will keep an eye out for a fitted stripy dress...
So sorry about the boyfriend, that is never fun! However, I am loving this combo of modern dress and tacky jacket! I love that jacket!

Aw that's terrible. Hopefully all works out for the best and it becomes a new journey to something happier that might not have been if this hadn't had happened.

Oh no! That is horrible news before christmas... but don't worry, bad things are always followed by really good things! :) murphy's law and all that...! It'll all get way better from here.
